BYOB (Build Your Own
Bag), 2003-2004
BYOB is a computationally enhanced modular textile
system. Fabric modules snap together to create smart
bags which can detect its contents. Gauri Nanda, Han
Hoang and I developed BYOB's design, concept and early
prototypes in Hiroshi Ishii's Tangible Interfaces
class. BYOB was then further developed within the
Objects
Based Media group at the Media Lab. |
